Woori Card’s Professional Baseball Lotte First Pitch Jung Sung-kyu I Thought it was a ie

Outside hitter Jung Sung-kyu, 25, of the men’s professional volleyball team Woori Card

has realized a dream.

The Jinju, Gyeongnam

native has been a fan of the Lotte Giants since he was a child

and he will take the mound at Sajik Stadium in Busan on Sept. 26 to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

“The first time I received a DM (direct message) on the Lotte Giants’ official SNS,” he said

I thought it was an impersonation at first because they didn’t seem to have anything to do with me.

The offer was so unexpected that even those around him said

Why would they (Lotte) ask you to do the pitch?

Jung Sung-kyu has always been an avid Lotte fan 지울프-토토 often commenting on social media

and when the team’s event team realized this

they directly contacted him via DM.

Jeong Seong-gyu immediately contacted the Woori Card club

and after receiving permission from the club

he was able to pitch his dream on the mound at Sajik Stadium in Busan on the 26th.

He laughed, sayingI practice a lot, but if I’m nervous, I can hit the ball, so I have to be careful.”

Jung Sung-kyu, who picked veteran outfielder Jeon Jun-woo as his favorite Lotte player, said it was “the honor of the family.”

Meanwhile, Jeong Seong-gyu made his professional debut wearing a Samsung Firefighting uniform in the 4th place in the 1st round of the 2019-20 season.

He won the V-League Men’s Rookie of the Year award only once in his life.

Having transferred to Woori Card ahead of the 2022-23 season, he is sweating ahead of the upcoming season.

Jeong Seong-gyu said, “I am confident that I can take on any role if given to me.”
