Wolf and Puig tied for the second round of the 10th round of LIV Golf Tournament

LIV Golf Challenge for the First Time

Matthew Wolf of the U.S. and David Puig of Spain took the lead on the second day of the 10th LIV Golf League tournament (total prize money of $25 million) sponsored by the Saudi Arabian sovereign wealth fund.

Wolf and Puig shot a 12-under 128 in the second round of the tournament held at Old White at Green Briar (par 70) in White Sulper Springs, West Virginia, on the 6th.

Wolf, who was the sole leader on the first day, cut three shots by tying five birdies and two bogeys.

Wolf became a hot topic at the 2019 Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) Tour 3M Open, ranking second (20 years and three months) in history.

In 2020, he also finished second at the U.S. Open.

Since then, he has moved to LIV Golf, and his best performance is to finish second in the third tournament of the 2022 season in August last year.

Puig, who was tied for second place the previous day, hit six birdies and one bogey to take the lead with Wolf.

Puig’s seventh place in the last eight tournaments is the best LIV golf performance.

Richard Bland (England), Taylor Gooch, and Bryson DeChambeau (USA) were in the joint third-place group by one stroke.

Danny Lee (New Zealand) was tied for 38th (2-under 138), Kevin Na was 42nd (1-under 139), and Kim Si-hwan (USA) was 48th (4 over par 144). 스포츠토토
