KOREAN FOOTBAL ASSOCIATION JOINS GREEN LIGHT FOR LIFE CAMPAIGN

The Korea Football Association (KFA) announced today that it has joined the Life Sharing Green Light Campaign in honor of Life Sharing Week. Life Sharing Week is held every year for one week from the second Monday of September to honor the love and sacrifice of organ and human tissue donors and to spread the value of life sharing. During the week, K League Baseball clubs participated in the Life Sharing Green Light campaign by lighting up their major buildings in green or placing green ribbons.At the K League 1 matches held on the 16th and 17th, players entered the stadium wearing mufflers with green ribbons. Outside of the stadiums, they also organized booths to provide information on how to register to become an organ donor. The KFA has been organizing the K League Life Sharing Campaign with the National Agency for 안전놀이터 Organ and Blood Management and the Korea Organ Donation Center since 2016.
