‘Ahn Young-jun 17 points’ pro basketball SK defeats KOGAS…

Ahn Young-jun scored 17 points as professional basketball team Seoul SK defeated Daegu KOGAS to end a three-game losing streak.

SK won 81-69 away from home against KOGAS in the 2023-2024 regular season at Daegu Gymnasium on Thursday.

SK, which would have suffered a second straight loss had it lost, remained in fourth place with 11 wins and eight losses. It trails third-place Suwon KT (12-7) by one game.

Meanwhile, KOGAS dropped to 4-16, tied for ninth place with Seoul Samsung.

Leading 38-33 at halftime, SK stayed relatively close with KOGAS until the beginning of the third quarter.

But at 40-36, Ahn Young-joon’s 3-pointer and Oh Jae-hyun’s 2-point play off an assist from Ahn made it 45-36.

After KOGAS answered with a pair of free throws from Andrew Nicholson, SK extended its lead to 50-38 on a Jamil Warney three-point play and a steal by Oh.

SK was led by Ahn Young-jun with 17 points and eight rebounds, while Warney had a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Asian quarterback Gomez Diliano also contributed with 12 points, including two three-pointers.

KCC, which lost 88-93 in double overtime against Jeonju on Dec. 12, was led by Nicholson (18 points, 12 rebounds) and Samjosef Belangel (15 points) but lacked offensive contributions from domestic players, with ace Kim Nak-hyun held to two points.

With the loss, KOGAS fell into a seven-game home losing streak. 슬롯게이밍
