Zinchenko pledges to change the mood in the next game

Oleksandr Zinchenko (28, Arsenal) dropped his head in Ukraine’s defeat.

The Ukrainian national team was completely defeated by Romania 0-3 in the first Group E match of UEFA Euro 2024 at Pusbal Arena Munich in Munich, Germany, at 10 p.m. on the 17th.

Lumanaa and Slovakia ranked first and second with three points, while Belgium and Ukraine ranked third and fourth respectively.

Ukraine had a whopping 71 percent of possession in the game, hitting 13 shots on target, but only had two shots on target. In contrast, Romania made five of its nine shots on target, and three of them scored goals. Ukraine was lagging far behind in terms of concentration and decisiveness.

Ukraine gave up a run to Nikolae Stanchiu in the 29th minute of the first half, allowed a second run to Rajban Marin in the 8th minute of the second half, and was completely defeated four minutes later when Dennis Dragus lost again.
Ahead of the opening, Ukrainian star Mykhailo Mudryk said, “Since the start of the war, our city has been bombarded with missiles day and night. My parents remain in Krasnograd and still live their lives there. Nevertheless, I always believe in Ukraine’s victory,” vowing to win for the war-torn people, but failed.

Oleksandr Zinchenko expressed his mixed feelings about the defeat. Zinchenko carefully responded to the interview, saying, “What do we need to say?”
According to the UEFA official website, Zinchenko said, “It was a shameful game. I was disappointed to the fans who came to the stadium. I am sorry.”

Zinchenko vowed to win again, saying, “I will do my best to change the atmosphere even in the next game. All the other players, including myself, feel the same way.”

“We needed a win to advance to the next round. We showed bad performances in many areas. This is especially the case with finishing. When we took the lead early in the game, we should not miss the opportunity,” he said.

Zinchenko sighed, saying, “The coach asked me to play more actively in the second half, but the result did not follow.” 안전 슬롯사이트
