Park Shin-Ja Cup International Basketball Tournament to be held in Cheongju on the 26th

The ‘2023 Park Shin-ja Cup International Summer League Basketball Tournament

sponsored by the Ministry of Culture

Sports and Tourism and Cheongju City and organized by the Korea Women’s Basketball Federation will be held at the Cheongju Gymnasium from the 26th to the 3rd of next month.

Ten teams from four countries will participate in the tournament

including six WKBL teams

Toyota Antelopes, Bendigo Spirit of Australia

Starting with the match between Woori Bank and Japan’s Toyota Antelopes on the 26th

the group stage will continue until the 31st. 

The semifinals will be held on the 2nd of next month

and the final will be held on the 3rd.

The proceeds from the tickets for the tournament

will be used for operating expenses of the ‘Basketball Festival for Girls and Boys’ held at the Chungbuk National University Gymnasium on September 1st.
