Samsung’s New Family Member Looks Like Noah Syndergaard McKinnon

Foreign hitter David MacKinnon has become a new member of the Samsung Lions. I would like nothing more if MacKinnon can do as well as Darin Ruff

who has been in charge of Samsung’s No. 4 position for three years since 2017.

Samsung announced the hiring of MacKinnon on the 15th. The terms of the contract are a total of $1 million, including a down payment of $100,000 and an annual salary of $900,000.

MacKinnon, who debuted in the big leagues last year, played for the Los Angeles Angels and Oakland Athletics and had a batting average of .104 (7 hits in 50 at-bats) with 6 RBIs and 2 runs. 먹튀검증

He appeared in 357 career minor league games, batting average of .209, 4 ERA (367 hits in 1,247 at-bats), 36 home runs, 210 RBI, 212 runs, and an OPS of 0.875.

He played for the Seibu Lions of the Japanese professional baseball team this season. In 127 games, he batted .

The team said, “MacKinnon is a mid-to-long range right-handed hitter with a good pitching plan and excellent contact ability, and has the advantage of being able to defend first and third base stably.”

He also said, “Based on his sincere training attitude and Japanese baseball experience

he is expected to quickly adapt to the KBO league,” and added, “With the addition of MacCannon

we expect to secure diversity in infield management and further strengthen the central batting lineup.” added.

If MacKinnon can do as well as rough, it is expected to be a great help to the team’s strength. Ruff has been Samsung’s fourth hitter for three years since 2017 and has played the role of a problem solver.

His career records include a batting average of .300, 3/3, 467 hits, 86 home runs, 350 RBI, and 267 runs scored. In his first year of debut,

he hit .300 with a batting average of 30 home runs and over 100 RBIs. He also ranked first in this category with 124 RBI.

There was no second-year jinx for Ruff. He was on fire with a batting average of .303, 167 hits, 33 home runs, 125 RBI, and 97 runs scored.

Entering his third year, he had a batting average of . Although Ruff was no longer with Samsung, he had a chance to return to the big leagues.

Samsung has not produced a single hitter with 20 home runs this season. It has been 15 years since 2008 that Samsung recorded 0 batters with 20 home runs.

Min-ho Kang and Jose Pirella recorded 16 home runs, tying for first place on the team in home runs.

It is curious whether the newly added MacKinnon will be able to show his true value at Daegu Samsung Lions Park, a hitter-friendly stadium.
