Las Vegas Hard Rock Casino to stay open through 2020
Hard Rock Hotels & Casino – Las Vegas said the property will continue to operate until early 2020. Design plans for Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, a property that will soon be reconceptualized and revitalized, have been substantially completed and construction schedules have been determined. The property currently offers all world-class entertainment, dining, lodging, and gaming options.
“Project deadlines at the property were fluid and the scope of the project continued to expand,” said Richard “Boz” Bosworth, president and CEO of JC Hospitality LLC and Hard Rock Hotels & Casino. “Based on the further improvements we identified, the deadline to begin work has been changed to early 2020. Critical construction activities remain 10 months away and the property will remain open through the 2020 Super Bowl without any disruption to customers and team members.”
“We are excited to work together on the evolution of our properties under the Virgin Hotels brand at Hard Rock by selecting construction, architecture, and design partners including Taylor International Corp., McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., Klai Juba Wald Architecture Plus Interiors, Rockwell Group, and Studio Collective,” Bosworth explained.
This month, The Joint will celebrate its decade as the most dynamic, sophisticated, and authentic venue in Las Vegas. The Joint will take over the biggest names in blues music in 2019 during a four-day event, including British pop rock band 1975 (April 16), comedian Jeff Dunham (April 26), rapper Juice WRLD (May 3), Hollywood Vampire (May 10) featuring Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, and Joe Perry, Grammy-nominated Snow Patrol (May 18), RBRM Bobby Brown + Belle Vivo Debo (June 15), American rockers Koheed and Cambria (June 28), legendary Judas Priest (June 29) and the 6th Big Blues Bender will take over the biggest names in the world of hard rock hotel & casino Las Vegas during a four-day event from Sept. 5-8.
