LeBron James has said that he wants to play with his son, Brownie, every chance he gets.

He’s even willing to take a lesser salary to play on the same team as him. Money doesn’t matter to him if he can play with his son.

When asked by Yahoo Sports if it was a dream of his to play with his father, Bronido replied, “No, not really. Absolutely not. My dream is to make it to the NBA and make a name for myself,” he said, according to Yahoo Sports.

“My dad brought it up a couple times, but I never thought about playing with him,” Brown said.

“People try to associate me with all the greatness that my dad has accomplished,” he said, adding that instead of comparing himself to his father, he insists his style of play is similar to that of Boston’s Jrue Holiday, Derrick White, and Sacramento’s Vashon Mitchell.

Brown has declared for the NBA Draft, but he has until May 30 to decide whether he will remain in the draft or return to college basketball for his sophomore season.

Brown averaged 4.8 points and 2.8 rebounds in 25 games for USC in the 2023-2024 season.
